The trueCABLE shielded patch panel bond and ground extension wire adapter gives shielded Ethernet a proper path to ground. It replaces the short factory bond wire found on shielded patch panels, which alone cannot ground shields without grounded infrastructure.

Running six feet to a properly wired and grounded three-prong outlet, the plug-and-go kit suits wall-mounted racks, stand-alone panels, HAM radio gear, mobile communications equipment and Ethernet surge protectors. Two extra screws are in the box.
